Easter

We had a fun Easter weekend! The way timing worked out, Easter fell on the weekend before we closed on the sell of our home, so things were not as organized and elaborate as they may have been otherwise. We had just enough fun to enjoy this special holiday, though!

The week leading up to Easter, the girls had their annual egg hunt at Primrose. They got to meet the Easter bunny which went over surprisingly well for Nora. By well I mean that she took a picture with him, but didn't necessarily love it. The girls were happy with their egg hunt treasures!

Ready for a fun day at school!

Nora & her great friend Griffin looking so cute

Janie is egg-hunt ready!

Counting those eggs...

Opening the eggs!

Happy girls

We had some backyard fun with friends & dyed real Easter eggs!

I took Nora with me to big church for the Good Friday service. I like going to these special services throughout the year, especially the night ones, but it is hard with bedtime.

We also went on Easter Sunday in the morning, had breakfast at church, and participated in the resurrection egg activity that they had for the kids. We had never seen this type of activity and I thought it was super sweet for an Easter message for kids!

We had an egg hunt at home as well as checked out Easter baskets, full of fun goodies!

Cute new dresses from Grandma!

We were able to see lots of family, eat yummy food, and go on another egg hunt at Mimi & Pops' house!

It was a fun weekend with our little bunnies! {I found her like this the next morning...}
