We made some edible snowmen this week and watched Frosty, which has since become a frequently requested song in the car. The girls are sporting their Cowboys gear since they played on Monday this week!

We did get to see Santa at The Owl's Nest toy shoppe in Southlake Town Square. BARELY. He was supposed to be there until 4:45 and we walked in at 4:30. He was literally about to leave. Nora was great with Santa, unsurprisingly, and sat right down with him. The only thing Nora has mentioned that she wanted for Christmas was a yellow bow... until this week. Now she is coming up with all kinds of random things. I have no idea what all she said to him today! She talked to him while the photographer snapped pictures and I tried to convince Janie to sit with him too. She wasn't easily persuaded but I plopped her down anyways, much to her disapproval. She has not been a big fan of Santa this year! So we had our picture made as best it could be and that was that! I did take a couple with my phone but only with Nora in them since I was holding Janie the whole time. I had no idea how long it would take, so I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't take more than 15 minutes to take care of that. Pops was with us and he had about an hour to kill, so we walked down to Five Guys and ate burgers & fries, then we went home!
Telling Santa all kinds of things!
The next morning, Primrose had breakfast with Santa and so Justin and I went up to Primrose with the girls to eat breakfast with Santa & Mrs. Claus. Nora again sat well with Santa and Janie would not. She did, however, let Mrs. Claus hold her, which made for a sweet picture!

Silly girls...
The weekend was pretty busy from there on out! Nora went to a cookie decorating party with her Grandma and then that evening we went to see Truthical {A Muscial} as a family at Gateway Church. We had never been before but man, I'm sad about that! It was free, great for the girls, and very impressive! I wish Nora had taken a nap that afternoon, but other than that, it was a lot of fun. The girls loved when Elsa made her appearance. Everything about it was very, very cute & well done. Highly recommended.
The last thing that we did this weekend was take Nora to the Nutcracker ballet. I took her out to Bass Performance Hall and she watched the whole thing! Afterwards she picked out a small nutcracker to take home with her. She said her favorite part was at the end when they were all dancing together. She fell asleep in the car on the way home {no nap, again} and didn't wake up until the next morning!
Heading to the ballet!
One more week until Christmas vacation!!
