A Mighty Fortress

Mom & I took on Vacation Bible School at our church again this year. We head up the preschool end of things, which ends up being about 100 three to five year old kids. One of the great things about our church's VBS is that it does offer their program for younger kids and another great thing is that it is completely free! Everyone at the church works together and works really hard at making it such a fun week for all the kids.

Mom and I happened to be out of town the weekend just before VBS started, so most of the decorations had to be set up without us, but we had done as much as we possibly could to get everything ready for the teachers and the helpers to set up for Monday morning. And thankfully, everything went so smoothly!

I loved being able to take both of the girls with me to VBS this summer {last year Janie was in the nursery} and they had fun seeing me around the church as they traveled from place to place. It was a great but busy week! Here are some highlights in pictures:
