Third Week of Christmas

This week we enjoyed watching more holiday favorites on TV, including The Grinch {another soundtrack on repeat in the car} and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer! We made some cute little snacks at dinner time: grinch kabobs & reindeer sandwiches!

We had Nora's last dance class before the holiday break this week so the parents got to watch a little bit of class. It was super cute! The video was too large to upload...

Happy girl after class!

Janie caught fever late in the week and we ended up taking her to the doctor. It was a good thing, because she was diagnosed with pneumonia! We kept it low key on Saturday {built a gingerbread house} and since she was fever free and on her antibiotics long enough, we did get out on Sunday to do the North Pole Express train ride in Grapevine.

The girls were very excited to go on the train ride to the North Pole, and were especially excited to wear their pajamas and robes. It was a bit cold, so the robes helped! The girls both mailed a letter to Santa and then we waited in line to get on the train. On the train we sang Christmas carols, got a jingle bell from Mrs. Claus, & then finally made it to the North Pole! There was a fun little show and we could have taken a picture with Santa afterwards, but we were not able to wait in the long lines. It was a fun evening as a family!

Afterwards. Both trying to figure out their new cups with chocolate milk!

We have a busy, busy week ahead of us, celebrating the Christmas season. We are happy for a break to spend with family & friends!
